WE GOT THIS IS LATE MONDAY, BUT WANTED TO SHARE A LITTLE CROSS COUNTRY FROM THE PAST WEEKEND WITH THE TIGERS…
THE WAYNESVILLE CROSS COUNTRY TIGERS MIXED UP THEIR NORMAL RACE SCHEDULE LAST WEEKEND AND WENT TO HERMITAGE TO COMPETE IN A HUGE MEET. THERE WERE 62 TEAMS IN ATTENDANCE, WITH ABOUT 1,200 RUNNERS COMPETING NEXT TO POMME DE TERRE LAKE THAT CONSISTED OF HILLS AND TRAILS, THE EPITOME OF CROSS COUNTRY RUNNING.
TIGER COACH NICHOLE JARMAN SAID “The crisp fall morning last saturday and fog off the lake made for a beautiful run.”

MEDALISTS FOR WAYNESVILLE CROSS COUNTRY WERE LUTHER SUPANCIC (10TH), RYAN ROLSHOUSE(11TH-BOYS) AND MAURI SCHNEDLER (5TH-JV RACE).
THE VARSITY BOYS PLACED 7TH OUT OF 27 FULL TEAMS. THE VARSITY GIRLS PLACED 11TH.
COACH JARMAN CONTINUED “Overall our team really enjoyed the challenge of this hilly meet and we are proud to bring home some medals in a meet with . We had so much fun that we plan to add it to our race schedule for future years.”
