Missouri athletics director Jim Sterk believes there can still be a football season this year even if students are taking online classes. Sterk told reporters recently that sporting events are possible if the Columbia campus is operational.

 

Sterk’s comments contradict NCAA president Mark Emmert, who said earlier this month that college sports can only be played if all students are taking on-campus classes this fall.
