The Cubs scored twice in each of the final two innings to pull away for a 6-1 win over the Royals in Kansas City. Javier Baez went 2-for-4 with two RBI for Chicago, which has won six in-a-row to improve to 10-and-2. Yu Darvish allowed five hits and one run in seven innings for his second win. Rookie Kris Bubic [[ BOOB-itch ]] gave up two runs in six frames to fall to 0-and-2 with the loss.

 

The Royals scored their only run on Whit Merrifield’s double-play grounder in the third. KC has lost six straight to fall to 3-and-10.

NHL-

The Blues are back on the ice today taking on the Vegas Golden Knights in round robin action in Edmonton. St. Louis looks to bounce back after a 2-1 loss on a last second goal to the Avalanche on Sunday. The Blues Oskar Sundqvist remembers theĀ  earlier meetings with the Golden Knights.
