College Football-
Mizzou and Kansas are working out details on a four-year contract to renew their Border rivalry. Dates and sites have not released…. The two teams have not met since 2011. The last five games between the Tigers and Jayhawks were played at Arrowhead with Mizzou winning four of them. Missouri leads the series, 54-48-8 and currently has a three-game win streak. In the meantime, coach Eli Drinkwitz, staff and players remain in limbo, but still must try and prepare the best they can for the upcoming season with plenty of unanswered questions as it pertains to the type of team they’ll have……
And a sad note, former Lebanon soccer coach Kevin Gerke passed away last Thursday at the age of 47…He started the LHS program in 1995 when he was a teacher in the R-3 district, then later served as the head basketball coach at Belton before moving to Blue Valley Northwest in Kansas five years ago where he served as assistant principal and athletic director…Survivors include his wife Carmen and three sons…
