We all love our animals, and we should keep them safe. During the summertime, the heat gets really hot, and it’s not safe for animals to be outside. The heat index could reach up to 100 degrees when the animals should be inside. Linda Blackmore with Claws and Paws says that any time the temperature reaches 80 degrees or higher your animals should not be outside.
Blackmore says if the animal has to be outside make sure it’s for a short time.
Claws and Paws reminds everyone to keep an eye on the thermostat, especially during these hot summer days.
