Widespread showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected today and tonight with some pockets of heavier rain possible. Some isolated localized flooding will be possible along with
rising creeks and streams. Windy conditions are expected from this afternoon into the evening. Wind gusts of 35 to 45 mph will be possible over western Missouri and southeast Kansas. A wind advisory is in effect there through 10 pm.
