Kayden murder trial reset for May 11th

The jury trial of a Lebanon man who is charged with murder, is scheduled to begin on May 11th. Kevin Kayden was arrested in January 2019, following an investigation that began when the body of 27-year-old Laquita Williams was found in December 2018. Authorities believe that Kayden killed Williams in her home in the 300 block of North Street, inflicting injuries that cut her esophagus and severed her carotid artery. Kayden will stand trial for murder and armed criminal action, in Laclede County. Kayden has been in custody since his arrest. His pretrial conference was held earlier this month.
