Kansas man facing charges after assaulting Camden County Deputy

An Olathe Kansas man was arrested in Camden County for assaulting a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest. Early Sunday morning a deputy was involved in a pursuit on Horseshoe Bend Parkwasy, which continued on Bittersweet Road in Lake Ozark. After stopping, the suspect, Daniel Hague allegedly ran at the deputy, and pushed him down. Hague reportedly attempted to get away, and assaulted the deputy by punching him with keys clenched in his fist, causing lacerations to the deputy’s head and face. Hague is charged with first-degree assault and resisting arrest, and is being held without bond
