Journey to Bethlehem

(Crocker)–It’s another place, another time tonight as volunteers at Crocker Christian Church will attempt to recreate the city of Bethlehem as it was more than 2000 years ago at the time of the birth of Jesus. The annual Journey to Bethlehem presentation will take place this evening and tomorrow evening from 5 to 9 o’ clock at the church, located on Highway 17 south of Crocker.
Spokesperson Sherry Campisi says the event is designed to let the audience follow the path taken by Joseph and Mary as they arrive in the city of Bethlehem. Tours will leave every 20 minutes or so, and last between 30 and 45 minues. After each tour, visitors can enjoy free snacks, hot beverages, and live music. Journey to Bethlehem in a free event.
