Jonathon Ray Arnold of the 19-thousand block of Highway Y has been arraigned in Pulaski County Associate Circuit Court in Waynesville on the class B felony of domestic assault in the first degree. Court documents allege that Arnold on August 24th struck another person in the face and strangled that person. Such conduct was a substantial step toward the commission of the offense of domestic assault in the first degree. Arnold resided together with the victim. Arnold entered a not-guilty plea. Judge Colin Long ordered him to personally appear for a September 5th counsel status hearing and a September 25th preliminary hearing.
