After waiting for 3 years, the Joel E Barber School will be getting a therapy dog. On Thursday the Board of Education approved bringing the dog into the school. Superintendent Rachelle Jennings said she believes having a therapy dog will benefit students and staff….

The Counselor and School Nurse will be involved in a week of training before taking the dog into the school. In other business, the School Board approved payment of the semester’s tuition bill to the Lebanon R-3 School District. The Board approved paying $447-thousand in tuition bills.
