Joel E Barber School Searches for New Principal

The Laclede County C-5 School District is on the hunt for a new School Principal for the 2023-2024 School year. The district is taking applications for someone to fill the vacant position, with the deadline in just a few days. C-5 Superintendent Rachelle Jennings said so far they have 11 applicants.

Jennings said after reviewing the applicants she will make a recommendation to the Board of Education and they will make the final selection. The new Principal for Joel E Barber School will take the position at the beginning of the new school year. Kyle Starnes is currently serving as interim school principal.
