She said they have been working closely with the insurance company, the contractor, and the holdings company to work out the cost involved in the repairs. A disaster declaration will help the school district recover some of the costs involved. After an outbreak of Covid-19 at the Joel E Barber School, the Board of Education voted to delay the start of the year until September 8th.
