Joel E. Barber Board to meet Thursday night

The Joel E Barber School Board will hear a progress report on storm repairs at the school during their meeting on Thursday evening. During the first portion of the meeting, the board will recognize the Lebanon Education Foundation. Other items on the agenda are the approval of the snow routes for the school year, and approval of the floor design for the gymnasium. The Board of Education will hear information on COVID 19 and quarantines, the Laclede County Cares Act distribution, and technology options for pre k through 2nd grades. The Principal will give updates on the start of school, virtual versus face to face, and class electives. The Superintendent will report on the Principal’s month recognition, and Joel E Barber’s strengths and weaknesses. The Joel E Barber Laclede County C-5 School Board will begin the meeting at 6 pm in the school cafeteria. A closed session may follow the regular meeting.
