Jacquelyn “Jackie” Decker (Bolivar)

Jacquelyn Lee Decker, 76, passed away on November 20, 2024.

Jacquelyn was born in Illinois on August 17, 1948 to Clifford and Alice Hartman. She graduated from Serena High School in 1966. Jacquelyn also graduated from beauty school in Joliet Illinois and became a licensed beautician. She also worked as a supervisor at GTE telephone company from 1969 to 1975.

She was an avid music fan and enjoyed all types of music. Jacquelyn played the mountain dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, piano, and organ. Jacquelyn enjoyed volunteering at the CMH hospital in Bolivar and playing music for patients. She also loved to knit and crochet gifts.

She will be remembered for her musical talent, crocheted gifts, positive personality and endless energy.

Jacquelyn will be greatly missed by her husband, her son, and everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Ronald Decker, her son Devin Decker and her sister Cathy Warnke.
Visitation will be held 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Monday, November 25, 2024 at the Butler Funeral Home in Bolivar, MO.
