It’s Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Missouri

This is Severe Weather Preparedness Week here in Missouri and in Kansas. The National Weather Service is notifying the public of different preparedness information each day of the week. Today, the information focus is on ways the public can get emergency notices.
Raychel Nelson is one the meteorologists at the National Weather Service Office in Springfield.

Emergency weather information is available online on the Weather Services facebook page. You will receive audio notification on a NOAA radio, or you can sign up to receive severe weather notices on various apps available from the National Weather Service, radio and tv facebook pages, and from an assortment of social media platforms.
