It’s National French Fry Day later this week and McDonald’s owners/operators across the country are teaming up to better the communities in which they operate. McDonald’s restaurants across the country will be donating a penny for every pound of french fries sold to local Ronald McDonald House charities. Chip McGeehan, owner/operator of several area McDonald’s locations, says since 2018 over 300 thousand dollars has been raised through the program……….

McGeehan says they also donate two cents from every Happy Meal sold to local Ronald McDonald House charities……….

In celebration of the Penny For A Pound program, McGeehan says if you download the McDonald’s mobile app on your phone you can enjoy a free order of delicious McDonald’s french fries. All funds raised through the Penny For A Pound program stay within the local area and benefit area residents.
