It’s day two of the 75th annual Maries County Fair in Vienna. Here is today schedule of events:
4-H Hog, Lamb/Goat, Bucket Calf, and Cattle shows will begin this morning at 8 o’clock.
Fair gates will open at 4 o’clock this afternoon with food trucks and carnival rides starting to serve the public at that time. A Beer Garden will open at 5 p-m and no coolers or outside alcohol will be allowed. An opening ceremony will be held at 5:45 at the Agriculture Barn.
Major entertainment this evening will be gospel singing by the legendary Lester Family on the Grandstand.
There will be a demolition derby this evening at 8 o’clock.
Season passes are being sold for $30 each. Daily passes are $20 for today and $30 for Saturday. V-I-P passes are available for $50 per person, which entitles the pass holder to have front row seats at the fair’s live music events–The Lester Family Friday night at 6 o’clock, the Comanchero’s Saturday evening at 5 o’clock and the Ozark Mountain Daredevils Saturday night at 8 o’clock.
