Two people were arrested in Lebanon when police responded to a disturbance in the 600 block of North Madison on Friday. According to police, it was reported someone was banging on the door, grabbed something from the yard, busted out a window and continued banging on the door. The suspect was gone by the time police arrived, but returned a short time later. During the investigation, it was discovered the 28-year-old female girlfriend of the resident, a 26-year-old male, learned he had cheated on her and she was trying to contact him, which resulted in the windows being broken. The investigation also revealed the 30-year-old male driver was required to have an ignition interlock device, which the vehicle he was driving was not equipped with. The 28-year-old woman was arrested for property damage, and the man was arrested for Failure to Comply with Ignition Interlock Requirement. Formal charges are pending.
