A one-vehicle crash in Pulaski County on Wednesday killed a man from Republic and backed up traffic for several hours on Interstate 44. Highway Patrol reports indicate that 55-year-old, Trumel K. Cox, was westbound on I-44, four miles west of Waynesville, when the tractor-trailer he was driving ran off the left side of the road, struck the median cable, and overturned.
