Injury accident Thursday on Raceway Road

A Waynesville woman was seriously injured in an accident on Raceway Road, just east of Highway 7 at 9 am Thursday. The Highway Patrol reports a 2002 Chevrolet pickup truck driven West by 58-year-old Glenda Hammock ran off the right side of the road, striking a tree before coming to rest. Glenda Hammock was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
