Improvements on I-44 in Laclede Co set to begin March 16
Contractors working for the Missouri Department of Transportation will be making pavement, drainage and safety upgrades along Interstate 44 in Laclede County over the next several months. Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, March 16th. MoDot Area Engineer Bob Lynch tells us what’s going to be taking place next week….
Much of the work will take place overnight and result in periodic eastbound and westbound lane closures during the night, but Lynch said the time of day will depend on the type of work and traffic….
Overall, the project will include resurfacing of the eastbound and westbound lanes, ramps and crossovers. Pavement repairs, drainage improvements, and guardrail upgrades will also take place along the same stretch. The project is scheduled to be completed in November.
