Lebanon City Council was asked to consider a Chapter 100 bond agreement for a new business to locate at the old MidAm building on Kansas Street. During the public hearing, Megan Miller with Gilmore and Bell explained some of the particulars of the agreement. As part of the agreement with the City of Lebanon, the company will receive partial tax abatements for the next 7 years and will be able to purchase construction materials tax-free. Shannon Imler Ice Cream Factory said they outgrew their current facility in Eldon so they began looking for a new location…

When operations get underway the factory is expected to produce millions of pints of ice cream adding around 50 new jobs. Renovations on the facility are expected to be complete in 2023. In a unanimous vote, City Council approved the bond agreement.
