Iberia Man dies in a car-semi collision Tuesday

A two vehicle accident at the intersection of Highway 42 and Route BB, in Miller County, at10:00am Tuesday, claimed the life of an 45 year old Iberia man. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 45 year old Thomas Ciavarella turned in front of a 1990 Peterbuilt tractor trailer driven by 44 year old Brandon Whittle of Brumley, and the vehicles collided. Thomas Ciavarella was pronounced dead shortly after the accident. Brandon Whittle was not injured.
