I-Phones aren’t free

Lebanon area residents are being warned to not fall for the latest scam which involves a free phone. Stephanie Garland with the Better Business Bureau tells Regional Radio News they have been contacted by a Laclede County resident who the target of a scam.

Garland reminds residents to be aware that this type of scam is happening, and says don’t fall for it. If you are contacted by someone claiming to be from any utility company or phone company, offering you money, or demand payment on the phone; before doing anything call the company directly using the number on your statement or visit their office.
