I-44 work will continue this week due to rain last week

Due to weather delays, pavement repair work that began on Interstate 44 in Laclede County last week will extend into this coming week. A contractor working for the Missouri Department of Transportation will be repairing pavement at various locations of the interstate throughout the week of April 26th. This work will require nightly lane closures in both directions of I-44. Signs will be in place to alert motorists of the lane closures. Drivers will need to slow down and obey all signs in work zones.
