Hunting and fishing permits expire February 28

You can buy your annual hunting and fishing permits from many vendors around the state, you can get it online at mdc.mo.gov, or on the mobile app. Commercial and lifetime permits can be purchased through the MDC Permit Services Unit by calling 573-522-0107.

As an example, if you are 40 to 59 years old, the cost of a lifetime permit is $600. In addition, you can avoid having to renew permits each year by using MDC’s Permit Auto-Renewal Service, which allows customers to enroll eligible permits in a service that will automatically renew their permits prior to the start of the next season or permit year.
