A Houston Missouri man is scheduled to be in court today for a detention hearing after being charged with murder. 38-year-old Adam Tyler Reams was arrested following an investigation into a stabbing in Houston on Wednesday. Houston Police Officers found the victim, identified as Billy Hayes Junior, in a home in the 300 block of Broadway, just after 1 am, with stab wounds to his face, neck, and torso. According to Police, Reams had been involved in a domestic violence incident on West Chestnut a short time before the murder was reported, and when he was arrested, he had a knife wound to his hand. Reams is charged with first-degree murder, armed criminal action, and abandonment of a corpse, and remains in custody without bond.
