A move by the City of Lebanon in 2020 is boosting the development of housing. Council approved a waiver of certain fee’s, offering incentives to developers in order to boost the construction of homes. Mayor Jared Carr tells us that 5 developers are in the process of building 56 homes…

 

Mayor Carr said this construction will help address concerns voiced in the citizen survey about a housing shortage.

 

The homes to be constructed are expected to be in the price range of $120-thousand and up. During Monday night’s meeting, Council approved the consent agenda which included appointments to the Board of Adjustment. Those appointed were Jon Sommer, Kristen Waterman, and Rick Adams. Dan True and Ryan Ritchel will serve as alternates. Mike Evans was appointed to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission.
