House fire on Garden Crest Road

A house in the 25-thousand block of Garden Crest Road in Laclede County was damaged by fire Wednesday morning. James Vaughn with Sleeper Volunteer Fire Department tells us there was smoke billowing from the back side of the house when fire fighters arrived…

The owners of the home were in the process of moving, and no one was living in the house at the time of the fire. Sleeper Fire received mutual aid from other departments including the City of Lebanon Fire Department.
