Hot summer days means higher electric bills. Listen for Peak Alerts issued by the City of Lebanon.
We may be enjoying cooler temperatures as we start the month of August but soon we will be back to the dog days of summer. Lebanon City Administrator, Mike Schumacher cautions people about peak alerts that are issued when temperatures go up
Schumacher says that how the city buys its electricity is much like when we buy gas for your vehicles:
Schumacher encourages customers of city electric when there is a peak alert to please cut the usage in your home or business. It’s in everyone’s interest so we don’t have a rate increase next year.
