Highway 28 accident injures a Dixon Woman

A Dixon resident was seriously injured in an accident that occurred Sunday morning at 9 am in Pulaski county on Hwy 28. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a car driven by 21-year-old Nicole McEllroy traveled off the left side of the roadway, down an embankment, and struck several trees. She was wearing a seatbelt. McEllroy was transported by ems to Phelps health and treated for serious injuries.
