Hickory County Accident Kills Two

Two Wheatland Missouri residents were killed in a single-vehicle accident at 2:50 Sunday afternoon on Hickory County Highway 254, 1 mile east of Galmey. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a car driven by 79-year old Lacy R. Demier ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. Demier and a passenger in her vehicle, 77-year old Eddie J. Demier, were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was wearing a seatbelt.
