Healthy Futures Pulaski County launched its Staycation summer campaign on Monday

Healthy Futures Pulaski County launched its Staycation summer campaign on Monday. Melissa Sharp of the county health center says the event encourages both active healthy activities for families and enjoying tourist events and natural resources in Pulaski County.

There will be a drawing every Monday, starting June 5th, to give away a free family meal for four and one free night’s stay at a hotel in the area.
The staycation will end on August 7th. Meanwhile, the Missouri Women, Infants, and Children’s nutrition services program’s Active Kids Health Week event, Tasty Tuesday, will take place at noon today at the Pulaski County Health Center, 104 Ashley Mae Lane, Suite 2, in Waynesville. Jeanette Luttrell will demonstrate healthy breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. She will be stressing how important it is for children to consume 3 servings of low or nonfit milk or yogurt daily. Join Tasty Tuesday in person or follow the presentation online on Facebook.
