Health Department Budget

The Laclede County Health Department Board of Trustees approved the Fiscal Year 2021 budget during their Thursday night meeting. Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says they added money to the salary line due to all the overtime that is being worked due to the COVID pandemic. Baker says they also added money under improvements to replace some aging H-VAC units. Extra money was also put into the equipment section for a new copy machine and telephone upgrades. The Health Department will also have to pay money for the April General Municipal Election……..

The Health Department is budgeting for expenditures of around 1.15 million dollars. Salaries account for around two-thirds of department expenditures.
