The Laclede County Fair, the Gospel Music Get Together, and other large events can be the perfect environment for COVID-19 to spread on a large scale. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says if you plan on attending one of these events, you need to take the proper precautions. Doing so will protect your own health, as well as the health of others in the community………..

Baker says the best ways to protect yourself in this type of environment are to wear a mask and to make certain you are practicing social distancing. Missouri is approaching 20-thousand cases of COVID-19, and 1-thousand deaths. There have been 25 confirmed cases in Laclede County, with the majority of those happening since Governor Parson dropped preventative measures.
