Hawley Tired Of Shutdown Threats

Once again, the federal government dodged a shutdown as Congress agreed on a stopgap measure to keep the government running through early March. Missouri U-S Senator Josh Hawley voted “no” because he says he’s tired of the repeated last-minute compromises to keep the government open that’s been going on since last year:

Fellow Missouri Republican Senator Eric Schmitt also voted against the stopgap bill. On the House side, Republicans Mark Alford and Eric Burlison voted “no,” while Republicans Sam Graves, Blaine Luetkemeyer, Ann Wagner, Jason Smith, and Democrat Cori Bush voted “yes.” Democrat Emanuel Cleaver did not vote.
