Hawley Thinks Government Can Avoid Shutdown

Congress gets back to work this week and on its to do list is passing a spending bill that would prevent a federal government shutdown. If a government shutdown happens, hundreds of thousands of federal workers would go without paychecks, along with a potential disruption to services such as passport applications and national parks. Missouri U.S. Senator Josh Hawley thinks Congress will pass the funding needed to keep the government open for business…
A roadblock to passage could be further some right-leaning House Republicans who are playing hardball.
