Hawley Says He Will Vote No On Debt Deal

Missouri U-S Senator Josh Hawley says he’ll vote “no” on the debt ceiling agreement reached between Democratic President Joe Biden and Republican House Speaker Kevin McCarthy. He told Missourinet the reason why, is because the deal doesn’t include higher tariffs on imports from China:

Congress has until June 5th to raise the debt ceiling or the U-S could default on its debt and risk triggering a recession.
