Have you gotten your flu shot?

If you haven’t gotten your flu shot yet, now would be a great time to do so before the heart of the influenza season begins. In a typical year, influenza cases begin to increase in November, and the flu season usually starts winding down in March. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says the health department is offering two different doses to residents this year……….

The influenza vaccine is being offered for free to residents of Laclede County. Appointments are not necessary. Anyone with questions on the influenza vaccine can contact the Laclede County Health Department at 417-532-2134.
