4th District Congresswoman Vicky Hartzler has been awarded the Missouri Farm Bureau’s highest annual honor, receiving the Farm Bureau’s Outstanding Service to Agriculture award at the organization’s annual meeting at Lake of the Ozarks. “Vicky knows farming,” said MOFB President Blake Hurst. “She grew up on a farm, has lived on, worked on, and helped manage a farm. She loves farming, she cares about farmers, she’s been there for this organization when we’ve asked for help.”
“We are in touch with Vicky often, with her staff almost daily, and we are unbelievably fortunate to have her in Washington, D.C., fighting for farmers and ranchers,” Hurst added. Hartzler, one of just a handful of farmers serving in Congress today, was honored to receive this award.
