Hartville Woman Dies In Wright County Accident

A 79-year-old Hartville woman has died following a two-vehicle accident at 10:05 Friday morning on Highway 5, 4 miles south of Hartville, at the Gasconade River Bridge. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a southbound car driven by Ama L. Coble of Hartville crossed into the northbound lane and impacted a tractor-trailer driven by 29-year-old Jerod E. Pounds of Norwood. Coble was pronounced deceased at the scene. Pounds was transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston with minor injuries.
