Hartville Man Suffers Serious Injuries

A 21-year old Hartville man suffered serious injuries following a single-vehicle accident at 7:48 Wednesday morning on Highway 5, five miles south of Hartville. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that a pickup driven by Jacob D. Jones ran off the right side of the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree. Jones was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. He was wearing a safety device.
