One week after the legislative session began, Missouri House Speaker Dean Plocher announced the committee positions the members of the House will hold for the 102nd General Assembly.
Representative Bill Hardwick (R-Waynesville) of the 121st District was appointed as chairman of the Committee on Emerging Issues. This committee is designed to deal with our state’s most challenging issues.
“I am grateful for the trust Speaker Plocher has placed in me with this appointment” Hardwick said. “This committee is made up of a great group of legislators and I look forward to getting to work.”
Along with Rep. Hardwick being named as Chairman of Emerging Issues he has also been appointed as a member of the Crime Prevention and Public Safety Committee, the Veterans Committee, and the Committee on Workforce and Infrastructure Development.
