Lebanon Fire Fighters and paramedics will soon have a new tool in place to assist in providing lifesaving measures to a person in cardiac distress. Lebanon Fire Chief Sam Schneider tells Regional Radio News that a Mechanical CPR Device will allow first responders to provide precise CPR movements to a patient…

Chief Schneider said the device will free up personnel to respond to other calls for service….

The purchase of the 3 devices was recently approved by City Council. One device will be partially paid for with ARPA Grant funds. The full purchase price of the devices is just over $62-thousand-dollars. One will be placed on a truck at each of the 3 fire stations.
