Halloween events in Pulaski County
Halloween is less than two weeks away and several local organizations are offering special Halloween events to parents and children looking for a safer way to enjoy the holiday. A Spooktacular will be held this Saturday from 6 to 8 p-m in Shady Dell Park in Richland. Sign up to secure your free spot along the walking trail to hand out candy, face paints, and freebies from your business. Call Richland city hall and have a flyer e-mailed to you if you’re interested. Columbia College in Waynesville will be hosting a Trunk or Treat on Friday, October 29th, from 3 to 5 p-m. They’ll be joined in this activity by Ozarks Technical College, Lincoln University Webster University, and the Fort Wood Education Center. In addition to traditional trick or treating on Fort Leonard Wood, a Halloween Boo-tastic drive-through is scheduled from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 29th, in the parking lot of building 470. This event is for families with children under the age of 12.
Trick or Treating will be held Saturday, October 30th, from 6 to 8 in the evening in the Fort Wood housing areas. A pass is required to enter the installation for individuals who do not have a DoD identification card. More Trunk or Treat and other Halloween activities will be taking place Saturday and Sunday, October 30th and 31st, in the area.
