Half-A-Million In Unfunded COVID Costs at LCHD

The Laclede County Health Department is looking at ways to recoup over a half-million dollars they spent covering costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. While the department was reimbursed for some of the money they spent out-of-pocket, much more was spent out of the department’s yearly budget. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says the department is looking at securing a grant from SEMA to help cover those costs…………..
