Half-A-Million In Unfunded COVID Costs at LCHD
The Laclede County Health Department is looking at ways to recoup over a half-million dollars they spent covering costs associated with the COVID-19 pandemic. While the department was reimbursed for some of the money they spent out-of-pocket, much more was spent out of the department’s yearly budget. Laclede County Health Department Administrator, Charla Baker, says the department is looking at securing a grant from SEMA to help cover those costs…………..
While costs associated with the COVID pandemic have slowed down considerably, the department is still spending money to cover the costs of the COVID virus.
