The groundbreaking ceremony for the new COPE Resource Center took place on Friday morning. The Resource Center will help the facility raise money to continue to be able to provide shelter and services to victims of domestic violence. COPE Director, Judy Kile, says COPE expects to see a 40 percent reduction in funding for one of their grants in 2025…….
Kile says the cost of the project will be around 1.3 million dollars……….
Kile says COPE provided services to one hundred individuals from a four-county region in 2023……….
Several local dignitaries were on hand to help break ground on the new facility.
