Greene County Woman Injured In Camden County Crash

A 46-year-old Greene County woman suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday on Lowell Williams Road in Camden County. The Missouri Highway Patrol reports that Melissa D. Bowles crossed the center of the road, overcorrected, and then ran off the road and struck a utility pole. After impact with the pole, the car overturned, ejecting Bowles from the vehicle. Bowles was airlifted to University Hospital in Columbia and is facing charges of driving while intoxicated, driving while suspended, and failure to drive on the right side of the road, resulting in a crash.
