An incident in Camden County has led to felony charges against a Gravois Mills man. According to the probable cause filed with Camden County, a deputy responded to the call in the 100 block of Great Lake View Drive in Gravois Mills for a report that 35-year-old Nicholas Edward Albritton was intoxicated and fighting with his mother and firing a gun. After Albritton was taken into custody, the woman told the officer that every time he drinks he becomes angry and aggressive toward her and that it has been happening for about 8 months. The victim said during this incident, she went outside to call her sister, and Albritton came out with a pistol in his hand, firing it into the air. Albritton is charged with unlawful use of a weapon and is currently free on bond.
